Our Story
Twenty-three years ago, we were just two newly married athletes chasing a simple idea: make real food convenient. Just raw, whole, organic ingredients — untouched by industry shortcuts. We just wanted to let food be food & so Raw Crunch® bars were born, Nature Unchanged™.
We started in grandma’s basement, scraping together enough to rent a commercial kitchen. We dehydrated instead of cooking, preserving every nutrient and every ounce of flavor. We made bars by hand, batch by batch, and let word of mouth do the rest. No marketing budget. Just belief.
We grew slowly. Passionately. We hired people who cared. We bought equipment we could afford. We made mistakes, learned, and never compromised. Today, we’re still making Raw Crunch® bars the same way — small batches, organic ingredients, handmade with love.
Now, with two kids, two dogs, and a pet pig in tow, we’ve brought our factory front and center. In the heart of Indian Trail, NC, we’ve opened our first shop: a community driven organic café built on the same principles as our bars.
Coffee in the front, bars in the back. Our locally roasted organic coffee blends are smooth, low-acid, and taste like a cup of sweet nectar. We serve ceremonial-grade organic matcha, bold organic chai, and fresh-to-order gluten-free French crepes. Every flavor is real. Every ingredient is chosen with care.
We’re proudly gluten friendly. Proudly free of lab created “natural flavors.” Proudly real. We’re not just a bar company. We’re a belief system. A way of eating. A way of living.
